The Marča route takes you through the southern parts of the Marča forest, a hilly area with vineyards and villages.

The first part of the route leads along the river Lonja to the lowlands of Ivanić-Grad. Soon you come across an unprotected railroad crossing (CAUTION!).

After that, the route offers several ways to the forest and back, so you can explore them all. The easternmost variant that leads through Graberje Ivanićko and Deanovečko brdo is partly a dirt road through the forest.

If you are with a road bike, and it has been raining recently, it is better to choose another road variant.

Along the edge of the forest, the route leads to Trojičko brdo, and then past numerous vineyards to Kloštar Ivanić.
