Last weekend, Ivanić-Grad hosted the 19th Pumpkin Festival (Bučijada). The event took place from Friday, October 6th until Sunday, October 8th, at various locations in Ivanić-Grad.

Bučijada attracted a record number of visitors this year and confirmed its status as the most important autumn event in the region. More than 170 exhibitors and 15 restaurateurs offered visitors an impressive selection of products inspired by pumpkin, the queen of autumn.

Visitors could participate in show cooking with masterchefs Damir Tomljanović and Melkior Bašić and in a workshop with Kornelija Benyovsky Šoštarić - TV gardener. You could take photos with imaginative art installations made of pumpkins and hay, try riding a pumpkin carriage, and the youngest especially enjoyed the Little Pumpkin Festival at the Zelenjak Sports Park.

Unforgettable concerts on the main stage in the center of Ivanić-Grad were held by Silente, 4 Tenora, Singrlice, Halid Bešlić, Maja Šuput and Reanimati. Over 80,000 visitors visited the city during the 19th Pumpkin Festival. The program was hosted by Ida Prester throughout Saturday and Sunday.
